Our client is a Food & Beverage Manufacturer who pride themselves on their heritage and the world famous brands they partner with. This is a business critical role & presents a truly unique and outstanding opportunity to progress to head up the Finance team for years to come. Key responsibilities: • Work to protect the vital assets of the company, ensure compliance with financial regulations, close the books correctly, and communicate value and risk issues to the board • Preparation of accurate and timely monthly financial management information including P&L, Balance Sheet, Cashflow and analysis Preparation of annual budgets • Overall responsibility for the accounting system and its accuracy • Leading on the year end audit process, including preparation of year end accounts and working papers for audit • Preparation and submission of VAT and PPT returns • Continual review, recommendation and implementation of financial controls • Support ad hoc projects and change management initiatives • Interim leadership support/cover for Financial Controller Experience required: • Qualified Accountant (ACCA/ICAS/CIMA or equivalent) • Food and/or Beverage Manufacturing • IT systems knowledge including strong Excel skills • Experience of system implementation highly desirable • Experience in producing management accounts and board reporting with excellent commercial acumen • Strong transactional finance and month end experience • Understanding of relevant accounting standards • Broad knowledge of VAT, Corporation Tax & R&D submissions Remuneration: • Competitive salary between £55,000 – £65,000 per annum • Annual leave (20 holidays + 8 statutory days) • Private healthcare • Free to access on-site gym & fitness class facilities For further information on this amazing opportunity, please have an up to date CV prepared & get in touch with Craig Sinclair via direct message or on craig.sinclair@alexandersteele.com.
