Alexander Steele is currently working in partnership with a large food manufacturing business based in Scotland's Central. We have been asked to assist the company with the recruitment of an Export / Logistics Administrator

As the Transport Logistics Assistant Manager, you are responsible for working collaboratively with Planning, Commercial, and Manufacturing functions and building long-term relationships with Customers and 3rd Party Logistics & Warehouse Suppliers. There has recently been a large capital investment in the site, so this would be an excellent opportunity to lead and drive change.
The position is paying circa £25,000 depending on experience and the business will also offer a bonus scheme and a very competitive benefits package.
You will ensure that any issues are resolved efficiently and effectively, ensuring that service and professionalism are maintained at all times.
Responsible for the performance management and training and development of the team.
Leading the development of customer relationship management and European 3PLs across Europe and container shipping providers.
Complete rigorous process mapping to reduce complexity and improve the efficiency of our exports.
Contract management for International Logistics & Warehouse suppliers.
Excellent leadership skills
Strong managerial and leadership skills to include coaching and employee development.
Supplier, contract, and customer management
Excellent attention to detail
International logistics/supply chain experience within the FMCG sector is critical
Excellent export knowledge
