Co-Manufacturing Project Manager

Location: Country-level role
Department: Operations / Co-Manufacturing
Reporting to: Co-Manufacturing Director

We are supporting a leading food manufacturing business in the search for a Co-Manufacturing Project Manager to lead the execution and delivery of co-manufacturing projects across key industrial partners.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong project management experience within the food industry, ideally with exposure to co-manufacturing, co-packing, industrial partnerships, or outsourced manufacturing models.

The Role

The Co-Manufacturing Project Manager will be responsible for taking approved co-manufacturing projects and turning them into successful, live business partnerships. You will manage the full project lifecycle, ensuring delivery is aligned with commercial commitments, timelines, budgets, quality standards, and operational requirements.

You will also manage and develop existing co-manufacturing accounts, working closely with both internal teams and external manufacturing partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the execution of co-manufacturing projects with industrial partners.
  • Convert projects into live, successful business operations.
  • Manage and grow existing co-manufacturing accounts.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including R&D, Quality, Supply Chain, Finance, Legal and Operations.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget.
  • Manage both technical and commercial aspects throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Monitor project and account KPIs including cost price, specification compliance and overall performance.
  • Identify risks and opportunities, proposing corrective action plans where required.
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Capture learnings from each project to improve future delivery.

The Candidate

We are looking for a hands-on, commercially aware project manager with a strong understanding of food manufacturing environments.

You will ideally bring:

  • A background in food engineering, food technology, engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 3–5 years’ minimum experience in project management within the food industry.
  • Experience in co-manufacturing, co-packing, outsourced production or industrial partnership models would be highly advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of food manufacturing processes, quality, logistics and food regulations.
  • Good financial acumen and ability to manage cost-related project KPIs.
  • Excellent coordination, scheduling and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build credibility internally and externally.
  • A structured, autonomous and priority-driven working style.
  • Fluent English plus native/local language capability.

Why Apply?

This is a brilliant opportunity to join a growing co-manufacturing function where you will have real ownership of projects, partners and account performance. The role offers strong exposure across operations, commercial, technical and supply chain, making it ideal for someone who enjoys bringing complex projects to life in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.
