Engineering Manager

Alexander Steele Recruitment are delighted to be working alongside a fantastic growing business in the Fife area that are looking for an Engineering Manager to join their time at this exciting time. Reporting directly to the Operations Director you will engage and motivate a skilled Engineering team of 5 employees who are utilising root cause analysis to identify and prioritise corrective, preventative, predictive and mitigating actions. Key Responsibilities: - Manage and motivate the engineering team and maintain essential smooth factory operations. - Be involved in supporting engineering projects and installation of new plant and services, ensuring they meet all design specifications, making modifications where necessary. - Responsible for organising and maintaining all regular planned maintenance ensuring the plant always runs smoothly at maximum efficiency. - Ensuring that all plant machinery and services comply with up-to-date food safety legislations, health and safety legislation, policies, and standards. - Develop site revenue and capital budgets and manage expenditure to ensure that budget targets are achieved. - Identify continuous improvement opportunities to drive quality, cost, reliability, and safety performance The Candidate: - Relevant structured and practical engineering training (Apprenticeship/HNC/Degree) - Proven management and leadership skills within an FMCG environment. - Ability to develop business strategies and objectives with long-term vision. - An understanding of ERP Systems - Experience in CAPEX budgets. - Ability to build relationships cross-functional with other departments On Offer: - Salary – £45,000-£50,000 - Monday-Friday, standard office hours - 30 days annual leave including bank holidays - 4% pension contributions If you would like to learn more about this opportunity, please apply with your most recent CV or get in touch with Aaron Wallace for more information.
