Finance Controller

My client are a £100M+ T/O FMCG Manufacturer based near Brackley, who currently have a requirement for a Finance Controller, due to a recent takeover and restructure this is a critical hire for the business. You task will be to continue to oversee the businesses financial systems in order to generate up to date, and accurate business information, my client are also looking for someone who can challenge the current status quo at times. Leading the finance function and overseeing its output to ensure that the finance team is providing excellent support to the business. A key objective within this role is having a detailed understanding of margins and overheads. Your experience must be within a FMCG manufacturing business and its imperative that you have experience of ERP systems, you must be able to generate data is a usuable and valuable format so that all departments can benefit from this. This role which will involve intensive use of excel and the main ERP system. Having a genuine understanding of how an FMCG Manufacturing business works from an operational and process point of view is key. This role will report to the board of directors and will deliver a report in the monthly board meetings What we are looking for: You will either be a qualified or part qualified Accountant with extensive FMCG manufacturing experience Although the main focus of this role is analytical, you must have the experience to manage all the accounts Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, look ups). Experience using and ERP system. Good analytical skills and be able to identify the relevant data in order to make and support decisions.
