Alexander Steele is currently working in partnership with a very well-established food manufacturing business based in Northamptonshire. Due to internal promotion, they are now seeking to recruit an experienced Health & Safety Coordinator who will have full site responsibility for every aspect of Health and Safety. The package on offer for the right candidate is up to £35k per annum along with pension and 33 days holiday. As Health & Safety Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring all areas of Health & Safety within the site are to the highest of standards. The Role To keep up to date with new legislation and maintain a working knowledge of all Health and Safety legislations and any developments which may affect the company. To carryout regular health and safety inspections ensuring actions from inspections are closed out. To review all risk assessments and actively undertake risk assessments for tasks, processes or equipment ensuring that any risk control measures are implemented and communicated to all relevant colleagues. To develop, implement and review H&S programmes and procedures The Candidate Minimum 1-2 years Health and Safety experience NEBOSH General Certificate Good understanding of data analysis and risk assessment Used to working in a fast-paced environment with excellent communication and interpersonal skills Great leadership abilities with confidence in making decisions If this role is of interest, please reach out to Clark Ross for a more detailed chat about the position and company profile.
