Inventory Coordinator

Are you looking for a new position within a fast-paced manufacturing company? Alexander Steele is working in partnership with a young and dynamic manufacturing company based in Edinburgh. They are currently looking for an Inventory Controller to join their team. The Materials Controller will work within the Procurement & Stock control team, answering directly to the Operations Manager and Senior Management team. The role will be working Monday - Friday and will pay between £25,000 - £28,000 depending on your experience. The Role: Responsibility for materials ordering and planning Expediting materials to fit the production schedule where required Monitor stock levels and values Place purchase orders for stock items and internal requisitions Assist in sourcing new items for use throughout the business Ensuring constant quality of raw materials inwards and outwards goods Price check and audit suppliers of materials The Candidate: Previous stock management experience within the food or drink manufacturing sector would benefit. Experienced in raising purchases orders and liaising with suppliers to ensure quality and best price FMCG experience would be beneficial Good negotiation skills Use of all Microsoft applications (Word, Excel etc.).
