As a Junior HR Generalist, you will collaborate closely with the wider HR team, department managers, and key business stakeholders to deliver a comprehensive and effective HR service across the organisation.
Key responsibilities include;
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including interview scheduling, reference checks, drafting of contracts, onboarding, and induction activities.
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees in line with employment legislation and company policies.
- Offer expert advice and support on all employee relations ER matters.
- Coach and support managers on all aspects of people management, including performance management, L&D, talent reviews and development, and absence management.
- Collaborate with HR colleagues and wider management to implement initiatives and projects that support the overall business strategy.
- Develop, update, and maintain HR policies, procedures, and processes.
- Ensure employee data is accurate and up to date using the HRIS.
- Utilise HR systems and reporting tools to identify trends and drive actionable insights.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement and enhancement of HR processes, procedures, and systems.
- Assist in the delivery of effective HR communications.
- Support the implementation of employee engagement initiatives.
- Degree in Human Resource Management or a related field; recent graduates are welcome to apply.
- CIPD qualification is desirable.
- Strong employee relations knowledge with the ability to apply practical and pragmatic solutions.
- Experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or logistics environment is desirable but not essential.
- Experience using HRIS is advantageous.
