Maintenance Engineer Food & Drink Jobs

Alexander Steele Recruitment are working alongside a fantastic Scottish Food Manufacturing company to find a Maintenance Engineer to join their site in Aberdeenshire. Key Responsibilities: • Ensuring plant and machinery continue running for production needs. • Plan and carry out any ongoing preventative maintenance programme to reduce overall downtime. • Ensure stock and spares control including development and updating of critical spares listing for all equipment and production lines. • Be part of the on call rota to minimise downtime of plant and lost production. • Closely monitor line and machine performance, identifying and investigating faults. • Co-operate and participate fully in training and development in cross-skilling and other job-related competencies. • Adhering to health and safety standards at all times. The Candidate: • Multi Skilled – Electrical or Mechanical • Experience working in a manufacturing environment. • PLC – input and output fault finding • 3 phase motor – be able to test balance and resistance • Lathe – milling experience. • tig welding experience • Inverters – to be able to programme • Basic engineering task – bore and tap , removal of bearings and overhauling gear boxes etc • Pneumatic & hydraulic On Offer: • £36,000 - £40,000 per annum DOE • 4 on 4 off days/nights (2 days, 2 nights) • Overtime rate: X1.25 basic rate • 20 days annual leave If you would like to learn more about this opportunity, please apply with your most recent CV or get in touch with Iain Shanley for more information.
