Production Shift Supervisor

Alexander Steele Recruitment are currently working in partnership with a large food manufacturing company based in East Riding of Yorkshire.We are currently assisting them with the recruitment of a Production Shift Supervisor. An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Shift Production Supervisor, developing and managing a team of circa 30. Also, to consistently deliver a high-quality product, in an efficient and cost-effective manner and in a safe and hygienic environment.You will be responsible for the smooth running of the Production area whilst on shift The role will be working a permanent night shift working 5 nights out of 7 and is paying circa £25,000 The Role: To ensure defined production standards are met. Ensure customer service levels & KPI’s are consistently achieved. Ensure all hazards are identified, the risks assessed, and all control measures implement and maintained. Lead, develop, inspire and motivate the team to attain performance improvement and drive and upward improvement in the skills and performance of all direct reports. Collaborate with other departments, ensuring identify quality issues and preventative measures in place. Maintaining compliance against internal and customer audit requirements. Maintain work areas in accordance with manufacturing standards of hygiene.
