They have an exciting new opportunity for a Quality Auditor to join their site in Berkshire. On offer: • Salary is £28,000 to £30,000 depending on experience • 28 days holiday • Company pension • Great career development opportunities The role: Reporting to the Quality Manager, the Quality Auditor will be responsible for ensuring that the food manufacturing process complies with all safety and quality specifications across the site. Key responsibilities: • Internal audits: GMP, traceability, allergens, process, and proposing corrective actions • Food safety, hygiene and environmental standards. Reacting to any food safety risks. • Logging food safety non-conformities and leading investigations and corrective actions • Assessing product measurements from QC data • Reviewing food safety paperwork • Working closely with production to improve quality • Monitoring and controlling key raw materials • Following trials of new products • Conducting regular checks on line • Understanding the traceability process and ensuring adherence to controls • Participating in improvement plans • Deputise in the Quality Managers absence The Candidate: • 2 years experience working in a similar role within a high care / high risk environment. • IT proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint. • Good presentation skills. • Good written and verbal communication in English. • Good understanding of health and safety requirements and quality systems.
