Summary of Role

Responsible for driving sales growth and brand visibility across the On Trade by developing strong customer and Route to Market relationships, securing new business opportunities, managing regional accounts, and ensuring high standards of product presentation and distribution within the assigned territory.

Main Responsibilities (amended)

  • Promote the company's portfolio to On Trade customers across the assigned geographic area.
  • Manage and achieve sales targets across regional Routes to Market.
  • Work with Business Unit Controllers and National Account Managers to manage relationships with senior and regional stakeholders across key National Routes to Market.
  • Actively seek opportunities to secure new customer listings and distribution.
  • Develop strong relationships with Route to Market field sales teams to raise the profile of the company's brands.
  • Ensure customers have the correct equipment and point-of-sale materials to effectively display, promote and serve products.
  • Ensure all branding, glassware and POS materials remain up to date.
  • Maintain the CRM database and territory call file to ensure accurate records of customer activity and distribution.
  • Manage relationships with smaller directly supplied customers, including independent On and Off Trade accounts where required.
  • Follow up all sales leads to maximise new business opportunities.
  • Achieve budgeted sales volumes, revenue and profit across designated regional customers.
  • Work closely with Business Unit Controllers, National Account Managers and Key Account Managers to deliver company objectives through effective management of regional customer relationships.
  • Implement the agreed field call cycle and journey plan.
  • Identify opportunities to expand distribution and strengthen market presence.
  • Build strong relationships with existing customers to protect and grow distribution.
  • Act as the primary regional contact for Route to Market field sales teams.
  • Ensure excellent brand visibility through POS, merchandising and activation.
  • Record all customer activity accurately within the CRM system.
  • Manage directly supplied customers, agreeing pricing, promotional activity and new product launches where appropriate.
  • Adopt a category-led selling approach, ensuring the right products are available in the right outlets.
  • Ensure customers receive excellent product knowledge, technical support and customer service.
