Alexander Steele is proud to be working in partnership with a leading FMCG manufacturer based in Aberdeenshire to recruit a Supply Chain & Logistics Coordinator.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic and forward-thinking business in a pivotal role, where you'll take ownership of logistics, customer service, and administration functions—ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of operations and supporting overall business performance.
Key Responsibilities

Deliver an exceptional customer experience for both internal and external stakeholders.

Lead, support, and manage a small team across administration, customer service, and logistics.

Oversee procurement activities, inventory control, and regular data reporting.

Manage a significant logistics budget and meet weekly KPIs to support business performance.

Work closely with production to ensure stock availability and accuracy.

Act as a point of contact across departments to ensure smooth administrative operations.

Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers and participate in supplier negotiations.

Monitor daily stock levels and proactively advise on production requirements.

Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

Ensure timely and accurate processing of orders, invoicing, and stock management.

Support development and integration of systems (ERP and EDI) to streamline workflows.

Maintain compliance with all relevant policies and regulations, including food safety and health & safety.

Oversee the day-to-day management of the office environment to support a productive workplace.
What We’re Looking For

Experience in a similar role within the FMCG or manufacturing sector.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members.

Proficient in ERP systems and confident analysing data for business decisions.

Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Demonstrable experience managing third-party logistics and distribution networks.

A hands-on, proactive approach with a keen eye for detail and continuous improvement.
