Technical Manager

Alexander Steele are working in partnership with a well-established Food Manufacturer with a global footprint who supply all of the UKs major retailers, they are currently looking to recruit a Technical Manager to the team due to an internal promotion, this role is based at their Hertfordshire facility. The Technical function is a large and diverse team, due to the scale of this business and the large number of customers they supply, therefore as a Technical professional operating in Food Manufacturing you will have fantastic long term career prospects as well as job security. You will work Monday to Friday and the salary on offer is circa £45 - £50k plus 20% Bonus & benefits package . The Role You will provide technical service to both internal and external customers, assisting them to meet their targets, you will set and maintain standards of safety, quality and trust to protect and enhance our own and our customers’ brand integrity. Ideally you will have a background of working within Chilled/Fresh Food manufacturing and you will also have clear evidence of managing a Quality Assurance / Technical teams with customer facing experience with the Uks major retailers.
