Warehouse Manager

Myself & Alexander Steele Recruitment are working with a brilliant food manufacturing business based in London who have shown enormous growth over the last 5 years and even through the most challenging trading conditions, the business has continued to thrive. Due to their ongoing growth of the business & site they now require a Warehouse Manager who will take ownership of the entire logistical & storage requirements of the business and will sit above the existing management team and will report into the Group Operations Director. You will help to improve processes and systems to increase standards and performance across Warehouse providing timely reporting on departmental performance. Main responsibilities: Managing stock control, stock accuracy and stock audits Ensuring effective warehousing – inbound and outbound Ensuring the Health & Safety of staff always Maintaining business systems and processes Extremely passionate about managing and developing the Warehousing team Ensure legal compliance and work on continuous improvement projects What we are looking for: For this role we are looking for someone with previous management experience in a warehousing environment, good understanding of Warehouse Management Systems, SAP and an understanding of Logistics operations, An experienced Warehouse Manager preferably from an FMCG or packaging background Must be SAP conversant Understanding of complex logistics Experienced leader of people, adept at motivating and managing a team Able to challenge accepted norms and enjoy creating new solutions with a hands-on approach to problem solving Experience of system implementation and process improvement is advantageous If you would like to discuss this role in more detail then initially forward your most recent CV via this advert, then please call our office and schedule a call with myself, Giuseppe Leo.
