Alexander Steele Approach

Our process began with a detailed discussion with Pure Malt’s Deputy Managing Director. The role’s immediate challenges, opportunities, and key requirements were shared with our team. Together, we agreed on the candidate profile, essential skills, and recruitment timeline.

We launched a targeted search across Brazil, Mexico, and Colombia, tailoring our approach to senior professionals within the food and beverage ingredients sector. Candidates were evaluated for their ability to manage existing accounts while identifying and developing new business opportunities.

Through our targeted outreach, we identified a shortlist of six highly qualified candidates. Each candidate had extensive experience within the food and drink industry, including account management, business development, and B2B sales. All shortlisted professionals demonstrated the ability to build long-term relationships with clients and deliver consistent sales growth.

Outcome

The successful candidate brought a chemical engineering background with over a decade of international account management experience in the food ingredients sector. They will be joining Pure Malt in August, bringing both technical expertise and commercial leadership to the South American sales team.

Feedback from both Pure Malt and the appointed candidate has been extremely positive.
