B2B Sales Account Manager

Alexander Steele is working in partnership with a Successful manufacturer of Value Added Ingredients. They are looking for a B2B Sales Account Manager to join their team and work with Food Manufacturers both Domestic & Internationally. B2B Account Manager – North West England We are looking for a bright, energetic and determined individual who has a passion for the Food Production Industry, particularly Food Ingredients and their applications. This is an opportunity to work within a niche sector of the market. Key Responsibilities: • Lead assigned B2B accounts, managing cross functional customer communications at all levels of procurement, R&D, technical and quality as well as regulatory affairs and communications. • Develop new UK and international accounts in addition to developing new & current business with existing customer portfolio. • Develop commercial proposals liaising with all key stakeholders to optimise margin • Negotiate and manage contracts effectively to agreed profitability levels • Execute action plans for assigned accounts in line with company strategy • Project manage business activities co ordinating functions across both UK and Denmark sites • Identify and communicate opportunities to expand the company’s portfolio • Develop and execute sales budgets / forecasts in accordance with business needs • Understand and target our ideal customers and how they relate to our products and services • Maintain up to date customer database, contract and pricing files • Monitor and communicate internally market changes / competitor activity • Attend industry trade events along with networking opportunities and other relevant forums The Candidate: • Demonstrable commercial experience selling added value ingredients in B2B environments • Understanding of domestic, international and global food supply chains • Proven track record of business and margin development gained within the food industry • Ability to influence both internal and external stakeholders at all levels • Strong solution led mindset coupled with positive and cooperative attitude • Financially aware with excellent ability across Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint and Word suites • Accustomed managing multiple projects in cross functional environments simultaneously • High integrity and openness combined with a customer centric motivation • Enjoys ownership and flourishes in an entrepreneurial culture The role is paying up to £40,000 per annum + Car Allowance + Bonus + Benefits
