Account Manager / BDM Alexander Steele is working in partnership with one of the UK's leading providers of Food & Beverage ingredients. Remote working - Initially 1-2 days a week in London Up to £50,000 per annum + Bonus + Benefits They are looking for a Sales Account Manager to develop sales of the company's product range through the development of new business opportunities, while maintaining & growing existing clients. The role will involve working within a specific range of products including fillings and inclusions. Having knowledge of the products or a background within QSR / Foodservice would make you a good fit. The expectation would be 50/50 in regards to Account Management / New Business and you will have the opportunity to work across various products within the Food & Beverage industry. The Role To achieve and exceed goals, objectives, and budget Develop a clear understanding of the Businesses capabilities and communicate them clearly to new and existing customers Update and prepare planners, sales reports, project briefs and any other reports as needed in a timely manner Continuously improve knowledge of the industry Maintain and grow sales margins by customer Negotiate sales and promotions with new and existing customers Work effectively with NPD and Marketing departments in the development of new products for customers Prepare and implement the budget for your portfolio of clients The Candidate QSR / Food Service experience ideally, alternatively knowledge of inclusions, fillings, flavour and similar products Able to commute to London 1 - 2 x per week initially (Tbc ongoing) Entrepreneurial mindset, constantly questioning and looking for the next opportunity Account Management / Business Development experience Experience working cross-functionally, including NPD team for product development / promotions If you would like to find out more about this great opportunity, please apply with your most recent CV or contact me: sam.gilmour@alexandersteele.com or call Sam Gilmour on 07391 890 653
