Alexander Steele continue to partner with a global food manufacturing business who supply a vast range of quality finished products to retailers, food service and B2B. Due to growth and increased demand we are supporting the business to source a Category Buying Managerr to join them at their site in Dublin. Reporting to the Product Director the role of Category Buying Managerr is to ensure products are readily available by working closely with and building relationships with suppliers to help the business stay competitive in the market place. You will work cross functionally with various departments in the business (NPD, Marketing, Commercial) as well as externally with suppliers to negotiate prices and ensure competitive contracts are in place. The candidate: Our client is looking for an experienced Procurement professional who is skilled in relationship management (with both internal and external stakeholders) and an effect negotiator. You will be well versed in category management and a strong project leader. Experience SAP is highly desirable.
