Compliance Team Leader

We are currently recruiting for a Compliance Team Leader for a Food Manufacturing business near Wigan. You will report to the Technical Manager, this role is to ensure that customer compliance requirements are met, through effective management of the Technical Administration Team. Your job responsibilities • Team leader • Creating and issuing of product specifications - for internal and customer use • Creating and issuing production recipes • Contacting suppliers for documentation as part of the product approval process • Customer technical information enquiries • Updating/editing SOPS/Policies and Quality Management System • Completing customer questionnaires • Interaction with internal and external customers • Assist/ participate with site audits for; BRC, Customer, RSPO etc. • Complaint handling • Member of the internal auditing team • Member of the HACCP team Education/Experience: • Proven experience of working in a technical environment and ideally be familiar with the technical function and have previous specification and BRC experience. • HACCP and Food Safety qualifications are essential. • Legal labelling training – not essential, would be beneficial • Familiar with FIR, food safety and subsequent regulations • Internal auditing On Offer: • £34,000 • Monday – Thursday 08:00 – 16:30 and Friday 07:30 – 15:00 • 29 days annual leave • Pension Scheme • Parking on site • Employee’s assistance program If you are interested in hearing more about it this position, please apply with your most recent CV.
