They are expanding their On Trade sales team with the recruitment of a Customer Development Manager on an initial 12 month contract.

£38,000 - £40,000 + car allowance + 10% bonus + benefits

Field Based – Central Scotland
£38,000 - £40,000 + car allowance + 10% bonus + benefits
Key Responsibilities:
- Professional management of a portfolio of customer accounts to meet and exceed budgeted volume and value sales
- Increase distribution of our portfolio and grow rate of sale within a large and diverse customer base, developing robust JBPs/JMPs
- Differentiate our brands by creating and executing innovative in-outlet activation, striving to secure maximum visibility of our brands
- Build and develop relationships with key customers and groups within your territory, becoming the go-to supplier
- Train and educate in outlet team members to deliver perfect serves and collaborate to create new and exciting cocktails, delivering increase ROS
- Proactively seek out new business opportunities to grow your on-trade customer base
- Understand and deliver insight to the business on weekly and monthly customer performance, drive action from this and deliver incremental growth
- Ensure accurate internal communication to supply team re promotions/activations/changes to distribution are kept up to date
- Cross functional working within the UK business and international departments.
- Develop excellent product knowledge and critically be aware of all market trends across beers wines and spirits
Experience and skills required:
- Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in sales, marketing, or related field within the on-trade
- Brands drinks experience and use in cocktails would be advantageous
- Entrepreneurial and ambitious self-starter with the ability to achieve targets and effectively organise own work schedule
- Strong communication skills (both written and oral)
- Strong commercial/financial understanding, together with intellect and curiosity to interpret performance, recommending appropriate actions
- Ability to manage projects and multi-task whilst building strong and positive relationships at all levels (internal and external)
- Comfortable managing some key accounts, building strong commercial relationships
- Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, being pro active and able to handle uncertainty
- Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Passionate about spirits
