Customer Techincal Manager - M&S

Alexander Steele are continuing to work with this fantastic organisation who are going through a positive change programme due to recent growth and restructure. Due to an internal move they now have a requirement for a experienced Technical Manager to join their team and manage one of their largest retail customers. My client has sites based throughout the UK and Abroad but this role will be based in Lincolnshire. This is a customer facing role rather than being 'factory' based, so having customer facing experience with one of the top 5 retailers is essential. You will provide professional technical service to the customer, commercial functions, procurement and supply chain teams assisting them to meet all business teams KPI’s in respect of Quality, Service, Innovation and profitability. It will be your responsibility to set and develop maintain standards of safety, quality and trust to protect and enhance their own and their customers’ brand integrity.  Ideally you will have a background of working with Fresh or Chilled foods rather than cooked or heavily processed products, so working with Fresh Meat, Fresh Produce, Herbs or Horticultural products would be beneficial. You will have clear evidence in your career of managing the relationship with the retail customer/s successfully.
