E-Commerce Sales Manager

E-Commerce Sales Manager Alexander Steele are working exclusively with a successful Food Manufacturing business in Scotland. The business has a range of premium products and household name brands. Our client are expanding their business and are on the look out for a talented E-Commerce Sales Manager, this is a new position. Salary between £40K- £50K+ bonus + hybrid working. Office is located in Edinburgh city centre. ROLE: To build the customer franchise for the company and to drive profitable sales performance and growth through a strong e-Commerce platform. To ensure close, productive and relevant relationships with colleagues across the company and the wider company Group functions. To actively build and represent the company brand both internally and externally. RESPONSIBILITIES: Be the face of the company, both internally and externally, and represent the business with personable professionalism and entrepreneurial flair. Develop and execute a clear commercial and sales strategy for the the brand. Develop accurate sales forecast and demand plans, with consideration to opportunities and risks, competitor and market benchmarks and the wider impact of macro and micro-environmental factors. Deliver agreed sales performance and profit budget for the company's SBU. Present, promote and sell the premium goods within the Company’s brand guidelines using solid argument to existing and prospective customers. Research, establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships through a multi-channel sales approach. Expedite resolution of customer complaints and solve customer problems in a timely manner to maximise customer satisfaction. Drive continuous improvement through the customer feedback loops from both buyers and recipients. Daily management and measurement of online sales performance through data analysis platforms, e.g. Shopify and BrightPearl. Build and protect the CRM database of customer information. Drive positive relationship development with customers, both direct and corporate, and suppliers. Professionally represent and promote the BOS brand with appropriate external links, such as prospective customers, trade associations, industry bodies, service providers etc. Work in alignment to the Company’s corporate strategy and objectives, and take a lead role in the development of a highly effective and unique product offering that responds to customer and market needs. Work closely with the Group Innovation team and UK Sales, Marketing, Commercial, Finance, Legal, Technical and Production teams to ensure achievement of overall business objectives. IDEAL CANDIDATE: Demonstrate experience in development and execution of successful commercial strategies, preferably with a Sales or e-Commerce bias. E-commerce experience, knowledge or passion desired. Demonstrated experience in sales and customer care for D2C and B2B. Proficient in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Teams), marketing and lead generation software (Adobe and CRM) and social media channels (LinkedIn). Digital literacy in data analytics and tools (Google Analytics, Shopify and Brightpearl).
