Alexander Steele is working with a reputable drinks manufacturing business based in central Scotland. The organisation is looking for an Electrical biased Maintenance Manager to lead their engineering function. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual that wants to be part of a site that is a leading manufacturer in the drinks industry and who wants to put their own stamp on the engineering function. It is a brilliant opening for someone with a strong engineering background in manufacturing who wants to challenge themselves in the wonderful of alcoholic drink manufacturing. The role is Monday - Friday, on day shift The Role Maintain all controls and instrumentation equipment in accordance with Company health and safety requirements, in compliance with current legislation whilst maintaining a safe working environment for employees Continuously analyse current control philosophies and processes and provide recommendations for improvement. The primary point of contact for manufacturing relates to electrical and controls updates and changes. Develop data management to improve accessibility to internal and external control systems Analyse technology, resource requirements, and market demands to plan and assess the feasibility of controls projects. Drive and implement rigorous quality standards for all aspects of the electrical and automation systems Collaborate with technical and project teams to ensure consistency of standards of new installation The Candidate Degree qualified in an Electrical Engineering discipline Familiar with current electrical regulations, codes and safe working practices Proven experience in leading and managing Control Systems, PLC & HMI programming Experience in supporting the introduction of new technology Proven successes as a leader with responsibility for internal teams in a process manufacturing environment Previous experience in the management of third-party service providers, including contractual and commercial awareness An ability to achieve a site-wide understanding of the manufacturing process If you want to find out more about the role, please apply with your most recent CV or contact Clarke Smith directly.
