Our client now requires Engineering / Strategic Project Manager to join the business. This is a fantastic role for someone passionate about delivering multi large scale projects and responsible for end-to-end management.

The Role
Create and develop robust project governance, which includes roles, responsibilities and accountabilities for all project members.
Creation of business case plans for all projects, where scope, benefits, cost and times are defined from Prospal to completion.
Confident and competent to lead all projects to ensure delivered within timescale and budget
Communicate to various senior management on programme updates against agreed budget and timescales
Identify and manage project risks and opportunities, plan and implement appropriate mitigations, assign risk owners, and effectively address issues throughout the project.
Lead any change management processes effectively throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring that all key stakeholders buy into and implement changes successfully
Evaluate projects following implementation to capture lessons learned, and ensure project benefits are being utilised
The Candidate
Relevant project management training such as PRINCE2 or Association for Project Management (APM)
Minimum of 5 years Project Management experience within FMCG or Manufacturing sector
Strong knowledge of engineering, construction, operations, supply chain and finance.
Strong communicator that can organise and chair meetings
Experience in managing multiple cross-functional projects simultaneously
Experience in coordinating all Project Phases including Initiation, Design, Implementation, Transition and Support
Knowledge and experience in delivering quality improvement initiatives, e.g., the ability to analyse and redesign business processes to make the best use of the people involved and enabling this with new technology as appropriate
