Warehouse and Facilities Maintenance Officer

Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse and Facilities Maintenance Person to join their established team in Suffolk area. The successful applicant will join the team of three and report directly to the Head of Facilities. The role: •Looking after state of the art facility •Adhere to all regulatory, environmental, and Health & •and Safety requirements •Ensuring legal compliance to UK laws and legislations •Looking after the whole site including site enhancements, repairs, contractor coordination, obtaining quotes •Ensure legal compliance at all times •Manage and maintain Material Handling Equipment (MHE) fleet •Manage reactive and planned preventative maintenance projects •To report and escalate issues via the correct channels The Candidate: •Minimum 2 years’ experience working in a similar role within a FMCG/Warehouse environment •Electrically bias •Enthusiastic with a hands-on and proactive approach •Good communication skills across various level of colleagues •Proven broad based knowledge of Electrical/Mechanical equipment •Experience using hand and electrical tools •Must have own transport •Work well on own and part of a team •Available to work occasional evenings/weekends which includes call outs and planned works •IPAF certification would be advantageous The Offer: •Full time, permanent job •Monday – Friday, 0900-1730 •33-day holiday allowance •Pension •Onsite parking •Other benefits •Salary up to £40,000 depending on previous experience If you would like further information on this fantastic opportunity, please apply with your most recent CV.
