Our client is an exciting, innovative, award-winning business within the food and beverage industry, committed to creating high-quality and tasty savoury and sweet treats that stand out in the market. They are keen to continue their growth so are looking for a passionate and driven Finance Assistant. The role falls under the Finance Director. The business has gone through an amazing digital transformation and are looking for someone to be a part of it. Key Responsabilities: · Manage the sales and purchaser ledger. · Process a high volume of Sales and Purchase invoices. · Assist with the collation and recording of invoices for payment runs. · Set up weekly payment runs. · Recording all bank transactions on the ledger and assisting with reconciliation. · Carrying out credit control activities. · Assist with quarterly VAT return. · Managing the filing of all documents relating to finance. · Processing end of month journals. Qualifications and experience: · Undergraduate degree preferably in accounting/finance degree. · At least one-year professional work experience. · Outstanding oral and written English communication skills. · Excellent numeracy and MS Office (specifically Excel) skills. · Entitled to work in the UK without work permit sponsorship. · Able to work as part of a team in a co-operative and supportive way. · Commitment to excellence and a relentless pursuit of results with an exceptional work ethic, strong organisational skills and a can-do attitude · Entrepreneurial and driven individual with exceptional attention to detail. · Ability to manage multiple projects on parallel and competing deadlines.
