First Line Manager

We have partnered with a food manufacturing business to assist them in finding a First Line Manager working nights to join their Production Team in East Kilbride. You will have experience of managing and developing a team within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Responsibilities •In the role you will be tasked with managing daily budgets, including labour and materials. •Ensure conformance to daily plans, ensuring that your area is audit and GMP compliant •Our First Line Managers must put safety at the forefront of what they do, ensuring procedures are complied with which includes logging accidents and near misses if they happen. •There is also an opportunity for you to get involved in project work with the view of continuously improving the way we do things. •You will be responsible for directly managing a team, managing headcounts, and upskilling and developing team members. •oversee the absence management of your team and conduct investigations and disciplinaries where appropriate.
