Food Innovation Technologist

We are delighted to be working in partnership with an exceptional food manufacturing business who have a very exciting opportunity for a Food Innovation Technologist join their team on a full time, permanent basis. You will join an excellent NPD team and will be responsible for developing innovative products for customers as well as driving continuous improvement across products and processes. Key accountabilities include •Undertake NPD projects and product creation from concept to launch •Develop relationships with key customers and gain an understanding of their markets and products •Have excellent knowledge of products and ingredients, their functions, usage, processing and storage •Gain a good understanding of the company's capabilities in terms of production limitations, strategy etc •Keep up to date with market trends and product concepts for all key customers •Requirement to support in other areas of the team when required. The candidate •Have a degree in a food related subject or equivalent •Experience of working on NPD projects from concept to launch •Experience of working on-line in pilot plants, full scale production and continuous process improvement •Have strong team working skills and have the ability to build effective working relationships •Its an added bonus if you have basic understanding of European languages The business offers a competitive salary and benefits with Monday to Friday on site working.
