Food Technologist

Our client, fast-growing family-run food manufacturer who believe in creating real food that is good for you and our planet, is looking for an experienced Food Technologist to join their varied and passionate team at their site in South East London. Previous experience within a similar role is essential as you will oversee the Quality Assurance of our products whilst ensuring Food Safety Standards are met. Key responsibilities of the role: •Completion of daily checks of our products including hygiene, glass, metal detector •Management of HACCP methods •Development & Implementation of systems and processes •Knowledge of BRC GLOBAL STANDARDS •Knowledge of Salsa •Own label experience •Food packaging experience •NPD – not essential but nice to have! •Previous experience within a chilled food supply chain is essential The Candidate: •Accurate and methodical with an attention for detail is essential. •You must be team player who can multi-task •Be able to think on your feet and is proactive •A great personality is a must along with excellent communication skills •Be flexible and adaptable and have the desire to leave a positive lasting impression!
