Head of Engineering

Alexander Steele are delighted to be partnering once again with this great business. Our client is a well-established multi-site food manufacturer who works with fantastic customers. They have asked us to assist them in recruiting a Head of Engineering for their site based in Worcestershire. This is a key manufacturing site for the group, and due to some recent internal changes, this role is now a priority hire. This role forms part of a dynamic Senior leadership team leading the business through an exciting period of growth and expansion. The manufacturing base of the business has seen some significant growth which will continue. Therefore having a Head of Engineering at the forefront of technology, electrical and mechanical engineering is critical. In this role, you will be leading an Engineering team & budget, and your role will be Mon - Fri working office hours. My client prides itself on providing its customers with the highest service levels and the best quality products, so we are looking for individuals who have delivered these high standards throughout their careers. You will also have experience working in fast-moving food production environments, which will be critical for our role. You must have a background in large-scale, high-volume FMCG manufacturing with up-to-date knowledge of LEAN, equipment and technology, but you must have a foundation in people development, performance, transformational change and teamwork, with a continuous improvement approach.
