We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR professional to join our team as the Head of Human Resources at their site in Jarrow. On offer: • Salary is £70,000 - £80,000 doe • 25 days holiday + bank holidays • Enhanced company pension • Life assurance The role: As the Head of Human Resources, you will play a pivotal role in our organisation's success. You will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies that support our business objectives, foster a positive workplace culture, and enhance the employee experience. You will be a key partner in attracting, retaining, and developing top talent. Key Responsibilities: •Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and programs to meet organisational goals. • Oversee all aspects of talent acquisition, including recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies. • Manage employee relations, ensuring a positive and respectful work environment. • Lead performance management and talent development initiatives. • Administer compensation and benefits programs. • Drive diversity and inclusion efforts. • Ensure compliance with laws and regulations. • Develop and maintain HR metrics to drive data-based decision-making. The candidate: •A degree / Masters in Human Resources, Business, or a related field • CIPD level 7 • At least 5 years of HR leadership experience in a manufacturing environment. • Strong knowledge of HR best practices, laws, and regulations. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Proven ability to build and lead high-performing HR teams. • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
