Head of S&Op

Alexander Steele has partnered with a leading apparel business that has an exciting opportunity for a supply chain professional to establish and develop the maturity of the S&OP processes across demand, supply, and inventory planning, ensuring greater ability to predict and deliver demand whilst managing supply capability. Key responsibilities include: Assessing and improving current Demand, Supply, Deployment, and Inventory Planning strategies & processes. Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to ensure that the promotions, visible impact orders, and new product forecasts are included in the aggregate demand. Motivate, develop, and lead the team to deliver the S&OP agenda for the business. Facilitate the monthly S&OP process, including consensus between functions and stakeholders. Create and drive continuous improvement of world-class demand planning, supply planning and S&OP processes. Measure, control, and improve S&OP plan accuracy through clearly defined metrics. Develop capacity simulation processes to run sensitivity analysis for growth. Candidate requirements: Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain, Business Management or equivalent. S&OP, Demand, Supply and Inventory Planning management experience in an apparel or consumer goods environment is required. Strong organizational skills in strategy, communication at all levels and execution. Ability to lead, contribute, and influence others in a team-based organization. Salary will be circa £65K to £75K + Bonus. The role will be based in the Leicestershire area. Hybrid remote working options available.
