Hygiene Manager

Alexander Steele are continuing their successful relationship with this fantastic Food Manufacturing group, they have tasked us to find a new Night Shift Hygiene Manager for their site in Northamptonshire. Our client has performed well despite the challenging trading conditions and offer the successful individual a permanent & stable role. You will work a Mon to Fri 8hr Nightshift and the role will report to the site GM. You will be responsible for delivering key performance goals by maximising people, hygiene processes and you will also be responsible for maintaining standards in line with H&S Policy, Quality Standards, KPI information and updating SOPs. You will supervise staff to ensure adherence to the above standards and act as a focal point to promote continuity and consistency of all operations, policies and procedures on shift. Cross-shift communication, cooperation and feedback to the teams and other functions are a key element of this role. Ideally you will have: Ability to work within and lead a team Supervisory and development of people Hygiene knowledge Health and safety awareness Thorough understanding of product safety principles e.g. HACCP Intermediate PC Skills Strong Excel Above standard verbal and written communication skills Hygiene knowledge and experience within Food Manufacturing is a must.
