Key Account Manager - On-Trade / Prestige Alexander Steele is recruiting on behalf of a global distributor of quality Spirits leading innovation within the sector. We are recruiting a Key Account Manager to look after Prestige & Premium clients across the London area. Remote Working - 4 x per week across On-trade locations in London £36-40k + 15% Bonus + Benefits (Family Healthcare, matched pension etc) Responsibilities: Manage a core number of agreed accounts within the territory to deliver the on trade Prestige brand building plan and activation program. Examples of activation: perfect serve, sampling, serve development, tailored competitions, menu presence and permanent unique brand visibility across key influencer outlets. Achieve core role KPI’s against Distribution, Visibility and Activation Create and implement profitable commercial agreements with key customers securing DVA to deliver volume growth. Record relevant outlet information and share improvements as part of monthly reporting and tracking Network with key RTM sales teams to secure listings, support, and identify new customers. Support and encourage brand development and loyalty. Identify new brand/outlet opportunities that enable targeting of the right consumers through networking and influencing, in On Trade Prestige world. Effectively plan and manage the working day to ensure coverage is achieved at key trading times of customers. This will involve evening work and a requirement to live on a territory’s core post code region. Build and maintain an Account Plan across the designated territory (London).- split between Hotels / Bars / Restaurants / Clubs / Groups. Take ownership of the territory to become business expert or lead for any future brand projects, including new trends across the sub channel. Support the development of the prestige strategy across identified accounts and delivery of ranging and visibility solutions appropriate to an opinion leading / luxury account base across retail and on trade Skills Required: Communicating and influencing – a good two-way communicator; first class verbal and written presentation skills; personable with a sense of humour; Ability to motivate & influence others, able to pitch to influential Buyers and marketeers across the 5 Star arena. Drive, resilience, and enthusiasm – Strong drive, demanding upon self & others. resilient with courage and conviction to stand by decisions that you believe in. Problem solving and decision making – Insightful and solution driven. Understands team dynamics; encourages collaborative working across internal and external boundaries; can manage upwards. Understanding the different customer requirements between On trade Prestige and Retail.
