Alexander Steele has partnered with a leading Food manufacturing business that is urgently looking for a Logistics Planning & Performance Manager to ensure delivery of their products to their customers safely, on time and in full, working closely with their customers, 3rd parties, agencies, and internal colleagues.
Key responsibilities:
• Creating daily plans to deliver all sales with maximum efficiency.
• Tracking and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency.
• Ensuring all resources are available at the right time, which includes Drivers and Agency Drivers, fleet, equipment, and contractors.
• Managing the orders coming into the business daily and in a timely manner.
• Develop effective relationships with key stakeholders including senior management and logistics service providers
Candidate requirements:
• Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain, Logistics, Commerce or equivalent
• At least 3 years’ Logistics/Transport Planning and Performance Management experience, managing cost and resources in a FMCG Manufacturing, Retail or 3rd Party Logistics (3PL) environment
• Knowledge of transport legislation and experience of influencing change and driving improvement plans.
• Strong Excel skills and the ability to identify opportunities from large data sets and track trends
Salary will be circa £40K to £45K + Benefits
The role will be based on-site at their offices in the Oxfordshire area
