Materials Coordinator - Food Supply Chain

We are delighted to be working with this great food business again. Our client is a major supplier of ambient goods to the UK food industry and UK retailers they are looking for a Materials Coordinator to join their Supply Chain & Planning Department. As Materials Coordinator you will manage the supply of a wide range of products to ensure that the businesses supply meets demand at all times. Key responsibilities will include: • Ensure there is an appropriate amount of stock available of a selected range of SKUs. • Keep on top of forecasted and speculative demand to allow you to confirm orders and raise POs effectively. • Manage raw materials and packaging stock levels • Work with suppliers to maintain PO information - Shipping / delivery status • Be proactive with expediting orders • Be part of video conferences with the supply chain team, the wider business and external stakeholders to ensure a good level of communication is maintained Our client is looking for: • Someone who is education to A level or degree standard • Good Outlook and Excel knowledge • Knowledge of SAP and ERP systems would be an advantage - training is given Working hours are Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm Salary is circa £25,000
