Alexander Steele are working with a multi-site food manufacturer who are looking for a Multi - Skilled Shift Engineer to join their ambitious and growing business across their sites Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire area. On offer: • Competitive Salary • 33 days holiday • Enhanced company pension • 2x salary life insurance • Private medical The role: • Maintain and repair plant machinery as required (both electrical and mechanical) • Problem solves in a logical and rational way • Carry out PPM tasks as directed • Carry out work orders to repair and maintain plant equipment • Assist other engineers and contractors with installations & repairs • Be proactive in ensuring all necessary documentation is completed correctly and handed in on time • Provide training and support to any member of the engineering team where required • Adhere to the company’s hygiene, environmental, health and safety policies, systems and safe working practices The candidate: • Problem solves in a logical and rational way. • Experience working in FMCG • Experience with PPM and various other aspects of maintenance • Problem solvers and will think out of the box • Up-beat, positive and possess a good attitude to work Sound interesting?
