National Account Manager Alexander Steele are working in partnership with a Multi-Site manufacturer of Chilled Goods being supplied into the UK Retail Market. We are working with the business to source a National Account Manager to work with one of the UK's Major Retailers. Hybrid working - 3 Days a week in Hertfordshire & remote working from there £41k per annum + 10% Bonus + Benefits The successful candidate will take responsibility for growing a number of small categories within the chilled & ambient sector. Job Responsibilities: Responsible for building and managing relationships with one of the UK's major retailers whilst keeping the goals of the business in mind To help support the business grow across various smaller categories within chilled & ambient foods Effective communication across Internal & External Teams To take responsibility for a full P&L with one of the UK's major Retailers Tight administrative Account Management (contract management, price changes, delivery schedules) Drive new ideas with the buyers and deliver plans to bring ideas to fruition. Stay informed on market conditions and potential challenges or opportunities to the business, so that all can be manged adequately. The Ideal Candidate: Experience in Retail Account Management within the Food Industry. Experience working with Own Label categories (managing critical paths and launches) Preferably have an understanding of production sites operations and logistics operations Experience with pricing/budgeting, planning and forecasting Demonstrable commercial skills Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (excel especially) Ability to engage, build and maintain relationships Excellent organisation and time management skills Proactive and driven to ensure the job gets done.
