NPD Manager

Alexander Steele are working in partnership with an international leading food manufacturing business who are passionate about their products, customers and their employees. An exciting and rare opportunity has arisen in the business for an NPD Manager to join them on site in Dublin. Reporting to the Head of NPD & Food Safety, the NPD Manager will play a key role in developing and launching new and existing product concepts, project managing these from concept to launch to meet deadlines and within budget, whilst ensuring that Quality standards are upheld. In this varied role you will build strong effective relationships with customers and internal stakeholders so as to be on the forefront of customer briefs and NPD teams within the business. You will be the main point of contact for customer technical queries, resolve issues and manage customer visits to sites, including non company sites, where necessary and ensuring positive outcomes. The ideal candidate for this role: •Experience in an NPD manager role with excellent retail customer experience including presentations •Be a real foodie and excellent knowledge of food trends •Great project & time management skills •Excellent interpersonal & communication skills at all levels •Able to work both as an individual & a team player •Need to be creative and have a thirst for knowledge •Have an outgoing & confident approach so you create a favourable first impression and project yourself well •MS Office working knowledge (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) •Demonstrate an above standard knowledge & understanding of food •Excellent presentation skills Our client offers the following: A competitive remuneration package.
