As part of their ongoing growth strategy, we are supporting them to find an NPD Technologist to join their dynamic and fast-paced team at their site in London. This is an exciting role that will see your NPD talents exposed to retailers, food service, and B2B professional! With a new innovation hub soon opening and more exciting growth on the horizon, it is a really exciting time to be joining this business. On offer: A £32,000 to £35,000 doe Working Mon - Fri days on site. Exciting career development opportunities. The role: As NPD Technologist, you will responsible for contributing to the creation and execution of customer development plans, ensuring the achievement of high-quality technical and commercial objectives through collaborative efforts across various business departments. Key Responsibilities; Interpret customer briefs and communicate concepts to internal and external stakeholder teams. Work collaboratively to assess costings and feasibility of new products before trialling. Coordinate factory trials with the factory team and deliver off-line factory samples promptly. Plan market research and incorporate necessary panelling into concepts, providing relevant customer insights. Prepare for customer presentations, including creating samples, costings, and documentation. Incorporate feedback from customer meetings and communicate relevant actions to site teams promptly. Ensure developed products meet the required standards and are optimized for performance. Contribute information to NPD processes to ensure timely delivery of critical paths. Stay updated on global, national, regional, and local food trends to ensure products are ahead of the market. Stay informed about legislative requirements and develop products with future-proof attributes. The candidate; Degree / qualification food / nutrition related subjects Experience working within food manufacturing and have a passionate for NPD Strong organisational, planning and time management skills Excellent communication skills with people at all levels A passion and enthusiasm for achieving targets, objectives and continuous improvement in a team environment.
