Plant Manager

Alexander Steele is currently working in partnership with a highly established food manufacturing business based in Hertfordshire who have asked us to assist them with the recruitment of a Plant Manager. As the Plant Manager, you will be responsible for driving and improving performance in the manufacturing facility with a key focus on operational performance. There has been a large capital investment at the site in the last couple of years, so this is a great opportunity to lead and drive change at the facility. This role will directly report to the Operations Director and you will be part of the senior leadership team. The position is paying up £85,000 depending on experience plus bonus & pension. The Role Increase production, assets capacity and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs and maintaining current quality standards. Develop systems and processes that track and optimize productivity and standards, metrics and performance targets to ensure effective return on assets Implement strategies in alignment with strategic initiatives and provide a clear sense of direction and focus Identify areas needing improvement and implementing changes.
