Pricing Manager

Alexander Steele has partnered with a leading global manufacturer and supplier of consumer goods, who are seeking to recruit a Pricing Manager. The purpose of this role is to manage European pricing and ensure day-to-day commercial support to the country managers. Significant part of the role also evolves around Intercompany pricing within the Business Group and within the broader group and sister companies. In the longer term the role will expand to adding also profitability management to the role. The Role • Working as part of the Finance team, supporting Financial Controllers, Plant Controllers, Transactional team & European Head of Finance. • Manage European pricing – data, processes, controls, etc. • Manage, analyse and support Intercompany pricing including special agreements and improvements in the system flow. • Provide Commercial KPI metrics and analysis (actual / forecast / plan) -formally and informally, set-plays and ad hoc. • Maintain and police commercial policies. • Day-to-day commercial support – costing, pricing, margin enquiries. • Management of pricing and business cases for new items. • Administration of customer special price agreements, calculation of customer rebates, • sales bonuses, etc. • Managing sales reporting. The Candidate • High level analytical and data interrogation skills • High level excel skills • Industrial / FMCG / manufacturing background would be beneficial.
