An exciting opportunity has arisen in their NPD department for an NPD Process Technologist to join them at their facility near Worcestershire.

As NPD Process Technologist you will be responsible for the smooth and efficient transition of products from concept through to market launch. It involves coordinating with various teams to meet deadlines, manage resources, and ensure that products meet quality and regulatory standards. Additionally, the role is responsible for identifying opportunities for process improvements within the factory, driving operational efficiencies, reducing costs, and enhancing productivity to support the business’s overall success and profitability

As NPD Process Technologist you will be responsible for the smooth and efficient transition of products from concept through to market launch. It involves coordinating with various teams to meet deadlines, manage resources, and ensure that products meet quality and regulatory standards. Additionally, the role is responsible for identifying opportunities for process improvements within the factory, driving operational efficiencies, reducing costs, and enhancing productivity to support the business’s overall success and profitability
Key accountabilities;
- Working collaboratively with operations and production for all upcoming production trials and ensure they are undertaken within the agreed time-scales and schedules.
- Coordination of pre-production and launch preparation
- Accurate documentation of settings for all machinery and ensure this filed in product manuals.
- Work with technical, commercial and operations to ensure that products meet the agreed specification.
- Ensure all samples are sent on time and in full.
- Documentation and photographs of products and ensure filed in the finished product manuals
- Work with the Technical team to ensure an effective process is established for full scale production.
- A minimum of 1 years experience working in a similar role within a food manufacturing environment.
- A food science degree or equivalent
- Good project management and problem solving skills
- Food Safety and HACCP qualifications
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be flexible with working hours to ensure all deadlines are met
