Production Manager

We are recruiting for a Production Manager to join a fantastic manufacturing business based near Bolton. The Production Manager will lead a team of around 25 employees with responsibility for the day to day running of department and fulfilment of customer orders. Must haves: •You must have previous experience working as a production manager. •Background in Engineering – ideally electrical •Ability to understand and utilise Lean Manufacturing tools. •Excellent people management skills. On Offer: •Up to £60,000 depending on experience. •Monday – Friday – 8am – 4:30pm (early finish on a Friday) •10% bonus •7.5% pension •33 days annual leave •Group life assurance •Plus, many more Duties: •Lead and manage the manufacturing team of 25-30 employees. •Responsibility for overall output of the production department, ensuring weekly targets are met and products meet quality requirements. •Manage and plan workloads and stock levels in conjunction with the Production Planner, Supervisors and Procurement team. •Support the operations manager in continuous improvement initiatives.
