Job Title: Production Manager

Location: North Lanarkshire

Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 (depending on experience)

Shift Pattern: Day Shift - no weekends

 

Are you a driven Production Manager with a strong background in food manufacturing?

We’re working with a leading food production business in North Lanarkshire that is looking to hire a confident and capable Production Manager to lead their day-shift operations.

 

The Role:

You’ll be responsible for overseeing daily production on site, ensuring high standards of output, efficiency, food safety, and team performance. This is a hands-on leadership role in a fast-paced environment, with a strong emphasis on continuous improvement and people development.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage daily production activities across multiple lines
  • Deliver against production targets while maintaining quality and safety standards
  • Coach, motivate and develop a team of supervisors and operatives
  • Drive improvements in OEE, yield, and waste reduction
  • Support site audits and maintain full compliance with food safety, H&S and BRC standards
  • Work closely with Planning, Engineering, and Technical teams to optimise output

 

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience in a Production Management or similar leadership role in FMCG manufacturing
  • Strong understanding of food safety, quality standards, and compliance frameworks
  • Excellent communication and team management skills
  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on efficiency and problem-solving
  • Comfortable working in a high-volume, chilled/fresh environment
