Alexander Steele are exclusively working on 2 Production Management roles for a wonderful food manufacturer based in Bedfordshire, our client are going through a positive growth period which has allowed them to develop the current structure and these two roles will allow them to strengthen the Production Team.
These will be permanent dayshift roles working either Sun to Wed or Wed to Sat paying a starting salary of up to £50k
In this role you will manage all aspects of Production to ensure finished goods are produced on time, to the required customer specification and to the budgeted cost.
You will engage with all departments on their continuous improvement activity and facilitate the implementation & drive the ongoing performance management within various departments.
You will have responsibility for a number of area supervisors, and you will be expected to coach and mentor your team to ensure all business goals are filtered down throughout your team.
Close attention to detail is required to be able to produce and report on weekly performance data and a strong level of problem solving is required to drive our continuous improvement culture.
Ideally you will have a proven background in chilled, fresh, short shelf-life, food manufacturing, this is a must. You will have a proven background in driving change and delivering improvements using C.I/Lean Tools within Production
You will have experience in training and developing productions teams to continually meet & exceed all KPIs and at all times promote a good H&S culture.
These are brand new roles so my client is keen to bring in experienced managers who can establsih these roles & shifts.
