Head of Engineering

Alexander Steele are delighted to be partnering once again with this wonderful business, our client are a well established multi-site food manufacturer who work with a fantastic global customer. They have asked us to assist them in the recruitment for an Engineering Manager for their site based in Worcestershire. This is a key manufacturing site for the group and due to some recent internal changes this role is now a priority hire. This role forms part of a dynamic Senior leadership team, which is leading the business through an exciting period of growth and expansion. The manufacturing base of the business has seen some significant growth which will continue, therefore having an Engineering Manager who is at the forefront of technology, electrical and mechanical engineering is key. In this role you will be leading an Engineering team & budget and your role will be Mon - Fri working office hours. My client pride themselves on providing their customers the highest service levels and the best quality products so we are looking for individuals who have delivered these types of high standards throughout their careers, you will also have experience in working in fast moving food production environments as this will be key for our role. You must have a background in large scale, high volume FMCG manufacturing with an up to date knowledge of LEAN, equipment and technology, but you must have a foundation in development of people, performance, transformational change and teamwork, with a continuous improvement approach. The salary on offer for this role is up to £65k along with a pension and 33 days holiday.
