Regional Account Manager – North England Alexander Steele is recruiting on behalf of a well-known, UK based, Family run Alcoholic Drinks manufacturer. Our client boasts several well-known Brands that are being supplied to both the On & Off Trade Sectors. Ideal locations – Manchester, Leeds, Liverpool, Preston, Sheffield, York & Lancaster. Region from Manchester up to the Scottish Borders. The focus of the role will be to promote the clients Brands to On-Trade customers in the assigned geographic area. Working closely with the Business Unit Controller & National Account Managers, you will seek new opportunities and to develop strong relationships to gain new listings. Working closely with RTM Wholesalers & Pub Co’s to achieve budgeted sales volumes, revenues & profits. Core Responsibilities: Achieve budgeted sales volumes, revenues, and profit for designated regional customers Work with RTM & Pub Co NAM’s to achieve company objectives through managing regional relationships with sales staff of national RTM’s Implement cyclical callage brief as directed by RTM & Pub Co BUC’s Construct and action journey plan to meet callage brief. To develop a wide knowledge of outlets & to identify opportunities for new brand distribution. To build a strong relationship with existing stockists of the client’s brands in the area, ensuring our brand distribution in these outlets is protected. To act as the focal contact point for the client in the area for the field sales teams of all routes to market. To ensure brand visibility in the form of tap badges, POS and glassware is up to date. Accurately record details of all calls made, to ensure the clients CRM database is up to date. Manage directly supplied customers, agreeing price structure, new brands and promotions as briefed. This may include independent On & Off Trade customers Demonstrate Category led approach to developing sales working to Right Brand, Right Geography, Right Outlet principles. Ensure the needs of the customer are met in terms of product knowledge. Technical Services support and Customer Services support. Key Skills / Competencies: Results driven Confident & Personable Computer Literate and confident in using Microsoft Office packages.
