Regional Sales Manager – On Trade (North West)

Regional Sales Manager – On Trade Location: Home Based (North-West – Manchester, Chester & Liverpool) Package: •Up to £40,000 + 20% Bonus •25 days holiday + bank holidays (Buy/Sell 5 additional days) Following a period of strong growth and success, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an On Trade Regional Sales Manager to join an Award Winning Spirits Producer with listings in the majority of UK Retailers. As an On Trade Regional Sales Manager, you will cover business across independent, free trade customers and smaller regional pub groups in the North-West. You will report directly into the National Accounts Director. Key Responsibilities •To drive the portfolio of on trade focused SKUs. •Growing an account database to circa 120 key accounts in the area, actively searching for new business opportunities for the brands and maintaining existing customers. •Ensuring contracts are in place for key customers and volume is delivered and pulled through via local and national wholesale customers. •Developing annual promotional calendars with key customers to deliver activity in line with brand focus months. •Forming close partnership with these accounts and supporting strategic key local and regional events to drive brand and consumer awareness. •Working with key route to market sales representatives in the area to aid mutually beneficial working relationships. •Pulling through wholesale featured deals into customers to drive volume during key promotional periods. •Delivering against key on trade KPIs set within the financial year to deliver brand growth and profit targets. •Supporting colleagues with other required opportunities including trade shows, sampling, and sponsored events. •Developing internal stakeholder relationships with customer service and marketing departments to ensure that all new volume brand activation is successfully delivered. •Forecasting new volume, tracking, and evaluating progress of your area to showcase the good work to the Head of On Trade and the business. •Working in partnership with the Head of On Trade to support national customer activation and regional opportunities in your area. •Management of local specialist retailers and support of national accounts. •Other ad-hoc duties as and when required. Ideal Candidate & Experience •A motivated, enthusiastic, and driven attitude is required to achieve success in your area. Very much a self-starting role with support from the Head of On Trade. •A good knowledge of the UK on trade either from a trade or supplier background. •Demonstration of delivering new business opportunities and maximising these for the benefit of volume and profit. •Knowledge of the UK wholesale network and how to best maximise this for the benefit of your area. •Excellent presentation skills and ability to use PowerPoint, Excel, and other mediums to deliver this. •Field based preferably in the North-West to ensure that you are at the heart of the area and regularly seen within accounts.
